3) During our first day of work placement, upon arrival to the sydney convention centre we were not allowed to enter the bump in area without a fluro vest, this was a safety precaution and we were given a fluro vest which allowed us to be in the bump in area. We then had a brief meeting with our supervisor, we were given a booklet which detailed what would be happening during the time in which the expo was open to the public, a map of the expo, dress requirements, working hours, breaks etc. We then transported boxes from one side of the expo to the other. We were all then required to sit at the desk in the organisers office where exhibitors were able to collect their name tags in which were needed for them to get into the expo and their exhibitor packs.

4) Tools used include:

-Stanley knife

-Tape gun

5) The employment skills in which we we gained on the first day was communication skills as we were required to take instructions from our supervisor and complete jobs in which she required us to do. We also gained computer skills with data entry, printing out name tags for exhibitors.

6) One difficulty that i came across on the first day of work placement was full understanding the expo and what would be happen during the time in which we were there and exactly what we were required to do. After our briefing with our supervisor, this helped me to gain a better understanding of the expo and what we were required to do.

7) What i enjoyed most about work today was the new skills in which i was able to develop and the range of activities we were able to complete
