3) On our second day of work placement, the Visual Impact Expo was still going through bump in. This meant that we were still required to wear our fluro vests’ for safety reasons. The first task in which we were given was to sit in the organisers office, and distribute name tags and exhibitor packs to the exhibitors as they came to collect them. We were then required to set up posters and signs in various parts of the expo. There were two different types of signs one had a floor plan of the show on them, and the other had a schedule of when the seminars would be held and at what times. Our third and final task of the day was to pack visitor show bags and place them on a table. We had to make sure the table was full of bags. There were 5 different types of bags one from each major sponsor of the expo.

4) Tools used:

-Stanley knife

5) The employment skills in which i gained from this day of work placement includes communication skills from sitting at the organisers office desk, team working skills from packing the show bags and fast efficient communication skills from unpacking and setting up signs for the exhibition.

6) A difficulty that i came across was doing one tasks for a long amount of time without a break. I found it hard to keep concentration and be enthusiastic about the job i was completing.

7) What i enjoyed most about today was being able to work as a team with my fellow class members. When we all worked hard together, we were able to complete the job in a fast time and get it done efficiently.
